KMEC LABEL CS

The 2004 KMEC LABEL CS is a high-performance roll-to-sheet label converting and finishing machine engineered for precision post-press production. Operating at an 800 mm working width, this robust unit efficiently transforms plain or pre-printed roll stock into stacked label formats. It features a heavy-duty unwinding system that accommodates up to 1000 mm reel diameters on 76 mm and 152 mm cores, feeding material directly into an integrated slitting, cross-sheeting, and collection station.

Designed for high-speed output and clean cut accuracy, the KMEC LABEL CS reaches mechanical speeds of up to 2,000 cuts per minute. The cross-cutting section utilizes a precision rotating blade against a fixed bed knife, synchronized alongside longitudinal rotary slitters. An integrated programmable PLC with an automated format counter ensures repeatable batching, minimal setup waste, and accurate stacking across a wide range of label sizes.

This versatile label finishing machinery processes a broad variety of standard and specialty packaging substrates. Compatible materials include 50–120 g/m² papers, 70–90 g/m² tobacco laminates, 50–100 g/m² metallic papers, 45–90 micron BOPP/synthetic films, and 75–90 g/m² double-coated HDPE. Powered by a standard 380V, 3-phase, 50 Hz electrical supply, this machine is available immediately and can be inspected running in full production.

The LABEL CS machine converts plain or pre-printed rolls into label formats. It has an unwinding unit followed by a sheeting unit where the longitudinal and cross-cutting systems are located, as well as the label collection system. The machine performs the cross-cut using a rotating blade and a fixed blade.
